FIRST BURN

To Prevent Sooting
Always trim your wick to around ¼” of an inch. Don’t trim too short (always better to error on the longer side than shorter side). Trimming the wick removes charred wick and keeps the flame from getting too hot.

Subsequent Burns
3 to 4 hours minimum, per burn. Again, this improves fragrance throw and prevents tunneling. There will be a small wall of wax present on the walls of the candle. You can assuage this by using a candle topper or candle hurricane to create more warmth.

To Prevent SMOKE
One suggestion, when the candle is done burning, is to dip the wick into the wax and pull back out. This will prevent the plume of smoke after you are done burning your candle. We offer a candle care kit to help with this.
